Jay is sporting a new cast on his left leg after jumping off a toy box the day before vacation. No one liked to see anyone get hurt, but we all thought this would be devistating to him on vacation. We thought he would have to be sitting down all day inside. I heard he told the doctor he didnt like it and he wanted the doctor to take it off.
He is now very proud of it. I got him out of his car seat when they arrived after a few hours behind us due to some traffic and he couldnt wait to tell me he had a boo boo from jumping off the toy box. After just 3 days in this thing he went from dragging his leg behind him to basically walking on it. He did get a waterproof cast so we decided to pick up a small pool for him to play with his trucks in. He loves it.
Not sure if he should be moving around as much as he does, but he isnt in pain and he wont sit still anyways.

Apparently teaching kids to go to the bathroom is easier when done outside. It was pretty funny.
