Future of the Blog!

To those of you who wait at your desk for the next post in Jack's exciting life to come out we have a small change. I'm sure you noticed, but we havn't been the best at posting lately. We still take lots of pics and videos, but just havn't gotten around to posting them.

So without letting this die completely, we have decided to use a Flickr Plug In. Basically it will show a few pics or videos from time to time with out us having to do much else. If you want to see more pics, they are all in flickr.

So you get to stay connected and we don't have to spend too much time posting.

Maybe we will get back into this for Baby #2 which is due Dec 27th!

Hanging out

Here's a few pics of us haning out in Canton this past weekend. Jack still LOVES to play outside!

Lanie took Jack for a ride on the little 4 wheeler. She was being super-protective and didn't want him to fall off....but it sure looks like she's putting him in a headlock!

Books, books, and more books!

Jack loves to read books these days! I used to try to read to him and he would just grab the book and bite it, throw it, or try to rip the pages out. But lately, he has been very interested in looking at the pictures and letting us read to him!

Jack + Libby = Best Buds

Jack still adores Libby! But as expected, he is getting more grabby with her. He often grabs her tail, ears, hair... but thankfully she has been great with him! In addition to the minor abuse, Jack also loves to throw Libby's toys for her to fetch and most of all, he loves to feed her! If I put a new food on his tray, he has figured out how to give it to Libby. In these pictures Jack is being a great sharer...

Yard Work

Last fall right after we moved in to the new house we decided the landscaping in the front yard had to go, so we pulled out all the overgrown bushes. This spring we are building new flower beds and putting in a nice stone wall around the bed. Before we do this we had to check one of the drain lines that didnt seem to be draining quite right. Jack helped with the digging and I think he jumped in almost every hole we dug.

It isnt exactly a lawn mower hes pushing quite yet, but its a start.

Easter Egg Hunt

Today we went up to Delaware for the Greif Easter Egg Hunt. Jack didnt mind that it was a little cold outside.

Who needs a basket when you have a hood. This also kept him entertained because he would bend over to pick up and egg and another one would roll out of his hood in front of him.

He was very fascinated with the bunny, but didnt really enjoy sitting on the bunny's lap. I think he knows the "real" easter bunny is in Canton :)

He walked up to the bunny a few times on his own so we figured he wanted to try sitting on his lap again. He ended up sitting on his lap 3 times, but immediately tried to jump off. He was very content just standing a few feet in front of the bunny and then trying to follow it around when it was time for the bunny to leave.

Layover in Detroit

On our way home from Virginia Beach we had a 30 minute scheduled layover in Detroit. We didn't bring a stroller for Jack since it was such a short layover. But of coarse our flight was delayed 2 1/2 hours. And if you know Jack, you know he thinks its funny to run away and doesn't listen when you tell him to come back. So we came up with this as a solution.

Gigi sat in the wheelchair and held Jack as I pushed her around the airport for 2 hours!

We were looking at the map of the airport and saw there was a "Kid's Play Area". We decided to travel across 2 concourses to find it.

and this little shack is what we found.

I was pretty disappointed, but Jack was easy to please (thank God)!

Double Fisted

As some of you may know, Jack has had some issues with drinking milk. I tried hot, cold, chocolate, vanilla, soy, straw, sippycup... but he wouldn't drink any type of milk. I kept trying for 2 1/2 months and just 2 weeks ago he finally gave in! Here's the video...

Virginia Beach 2010

Its been almost a year since our last visit to Virginia Beach. So Jack, Gigi, and I went down to visit Jack's new baby cousin, Evelyn. We had tons of fun visiting with the Virginia Giarranas and meeting Baby Evelyn.

Evelyn is so teeny tiny (now 6 lbs) it made Jack look huge! She is so precious- we miss her already!

The weather was beautiful and he got to play at the park...

...and push a race car in the driveway...

...and fall down and get his first scrape to the face.

But he's still happy!
