Jack's New Job

I guess Jack's seen me Swiffer enough to know how to do it himself. I left the laundry room door open and he came out with the Swiffer and he actually knew how to use it!






He even went around the chairs!


Looks like I got a little helper!

Jack's 1st Birthday!

Here are some pics from Jack's birthday party with the Zieglers. I think we did the cake thing a little late (with the Zieglers? no way!) - Jack was pretty tired, but he still loved the cake!

Jack's 1st Christmas

Jack got a Cozy Coupe for Christmas from Grandma and Papa John. It is now his favorite toy!

Animoto Test

For all the Jack blog readers - bear with me for a little bit. I am working on a project with a photographer I work with here in Columbus. We are experimenting with some new video stuff. Jack's 1st real haricut

If you remember from Jack's baby pictures, he came out with a full head of hair. Since then he has probably received 4 or 5 major haircuts. This doesnt count the trimming around his ear or anything like that. When he was smaller I would distract him while Marisa would cut his hair. Then he got bigger and we started doing it in the bathtub when he would sit still. Well that stopped not to long ago and his hair was getting really long.

Marisa heard about this place from one of her friends. I went with her to check it out. Its a little more expensive then everywhere else, but its all about the distractions. They have a playground indoors for while you wait. (They recommend reservations because they are so busy, we learned that the hard way) Once in, they strap him into a little car and give him a choice of DVDs. He only cares about one and they even had it. So he got to play in a car, with smaller toy cars, while watching his movie. If you look closly he tries to lean to one side when the haircut girl gets in the way of his movie.

He did great and he looks like a big boy with his haircut.
